Clean Water
Craze.
Before buying a
water purification system, you need to become
familiar with the different methods and
equipment used in purifying water.
As a nation, we are big
users of home water filtration systems to purify
our tap water. Many of us who don’t have one yet
are thinking about getting one. What a relief it
would be not to have to go to the water store
every week, or pay to have water delivered.
Let’s order some sparkling water over dinner and
think about it!
Why are we so obsessed with water purification?
Is our tap water really that bad? We all know
clean water’s a good thing, and we have been
told that our bodies are composed mostly of
water, but do we really need to filter our tap
water? Doesn’t the city purify, treat, and check
the water for safety? Doesn’t it have to meet
strict state and governmental standards? If so,
is the home water purification mania really
necessary?
The fact is that there have been many instances
in which municipal water was proven to contain
harmful substances that negatively impact health
on a long-term basis. Therefore, since all of us
want the best for our families, we buy water
purification systems. Or we are thinking about
buying one and are in the fact-gathering and
research stage of the buying process.
